    - Identify the features of software deployment and management.
    - Identify the technologies used for deploying and managing software in Windows 2000.

    - Identify the technologies used to manage the user environment.
    - Identify the features of user data management.
    - Identify the technologies used to manage user data.
    - Identify the components of the RIS Server setup process.
    - Identify the features of the operation of RIS.
    - Identify the network services that are required to run RIS.
    - Identify the hardware requirements for RIS.
    - Install RIS by using the Windows Components Wizard.
    - Identify the options available in the Remote Installation Services Setup Wizard.
    - Authorize an RIS server within Active Directory.

    Unit 3: RIS Image Management 2 hours

    - Identify the functions of answer files in configuring a CD-based image for installing Windows 2000 Professional.
    - Identify the features of the Setup Manager Wizard in relation to the creation of answer files.
    - Identify the configuration options available for saving an answer file.
    - Identify the procedure for configuring an answer file to support RIS by using a text editor.
    - Associate an answer file with a CD-based image.
    - Set permissions on answer files to restrict image access to selected users.
    - Identify the main concepts associated with creating a Remote Installation Preparation (RIPrep) image on an RIS server.
    - Identify the steps involved in setting up a source computer.
    - Copy the Administrator profile to the Default user profile.
    - Identify the features of the Remote Installation Preparation Wizard.
    - Identify the features of CD-based and RIPrep images.

    Course Access

    Each student has access to the course for a period of 6 months from the day of enrollment in the course.
